Weigh In #11: Plus Size Bloggers Tracking Challenge: Bye Bye Booties! and Slimmer This Summer Check In

Okay, no real walks to speak of this week. Same kind of eating. I guess you may be able to tell what that equation equals. Yep, I gained again.  However, I can say I only gained 5 pounds in my first trimester. I guess that isn't that bad, though I had wanted it to be less. I am now in my second trimester. I gained 1.4 pounds this week. Ouch!

The great thing is, I still weigh less than I did at the start of my previous pregnancy!

I don't really see losing any more weight this pregnancy.  But who knows.  I am just hoping most of the weight gain will be baby weight.

Previous Monday Weight: 222
Today's Weight: 223.4
Weight change from last week: +1.4

Total Loss since weight loss journey got serious on December 13th 2010: 38.5


  1. Just continue to do what you have been. You are doing well and the fact that you are still lower than your previous pregnancy is already something. Keep up on protein and enjoy the fruits of summer.

  2. Just keep on eating healthy and try to get those walks in- they'll be of great benefit to you and the baby! I'm so excited! I hope you'll stay in touch and keep me up on the pregnancy and the new little one!

    You're doing great!
    I was 235 when I got pregnant with my daughter... my highest at the time... And I had a great pregnancy, only gained about 10 pounds (until the very last week)
    and when she was born I was 215! So I actually lost weight by the time she was born.
    I hope you get a similar result!!

  4. You're right, you can't focus on weight loss during pregnancy, instead focus on healthy eating and nourishing you and baby!
